Breakfast Before Anything Else

If you have an early morning class then today's blog will be perfect for you. I have an early morning class and I'm a college student and don't feel like waking up earlier than normal to go get breakfast from the Dinning Commons. My favorite meal is breakfast and because of this class, I don't get to eat! I'm going to show you one of the many ways you can cook an egg in a microwave so that you can have breakfast before class and not wake up super early. We're going to be a little fancy and make a poached egg. Ingredients: - Microwave  - Egg - Mug or bowl - 1/3 cup of Water - Spoon - 1/2 teaspoon of vinegar (optional) - Plate If you would like to throw your egg on a pice of toast, then go ahead. I prefer mine on a croissant. The first step is to crack the egg into a microwave sat bowl or mug. pour in about 1/3 cup of water and add a bit of vinegar (about 1/2 teaspoon). Cover the bowl or mug with a plate and microwave for about 1 minute 30 s

French Toast In A Mug

Are you French? Do you like Toast? Well I don't care if you are French or not because we are making some FRENCH TOAST. This week we will be cooking in mugs with a microwave. Pretty easy. Right? This is an easy semi-cheap recipe that will fill you up before your morning class. Ingredients: 1 or 2 slices of bread, cubed (doesn't matter what type. I prefer a baguette for crunchiness) 1 tbls butter 1 egg 3 tbls milk Dash cinnamon Drop of vanilla extract (optional) To begin to chef it up in your dorm, grab a mug. Next, cube whatever bread you have on hand. Melt the butter in the mug and swish it around a bit.Next, stuff the bread in the mug.  In a different cup, stir the egg, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla and pour the mix over the bread. squash the bread a little to allow the mix to soak into the bread. Then microwave for about 1 minute and add more seconds at a time until it looks cooked. When I cook it in my microwave it takes about 2 minutes.

Dormmade Apple Pie

Alright people. It's Fall and it's approaching Thanksgiving so that means that it is pie season! We all love pie! There are so many variations of pie which allows us to be creative. Although we want creativeness, I'm going to bring it back to the classic apple pie. The way that we're about to make this is easy for your dorm situation. Ingredients: 1. Apples 2. Cinnamon 3. Honey 4. Butter (optional) 6. bread 7. Bowl 5. Microwave (or toaster) To make this, line your bowl with some bread. Then slice up some apples, add some cinnamon and honey with a little butter if you would like to. Place those apples in the bowl and microwave/toast it and BOOM you've got your dorm made apple pie. If you don't like apple pie then put whatever kind of pie filling you prefer inside it. If you also would like to be fancy, add some ice cream to your new creation. I got the idea from this place called  9 College Food Hacks You'll Wish You Thought of First , but I added
